buford_t_justice Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 In the boot there are two recesses in the trim with what I can only describe as small black catches in the bottom (one each side and close to where the load cover hooks onto) What are they for?? Quote

Guest fredt Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Just an idea, but has anyone ever sat down and read the owners hand book? its full of interesting snippets of info that come in handy :D Quote
Another?Maybe! Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 I was thinking the same, Fredt! Reading the handbook would save a lot of the questions posted on this site... and the newer the handbook, the more info it contains, I am still learning from mine. Trouble is, the index is cr*p, the red light in my drivers door was flashing after I was inside the car with engine running, I knew I had read info in the h'book b4, but could I find it again when I needed it and the index was useless? Had to read through the book again to find info. Maybe older cars have lost their book but Ford dealers should still carry spares, at a price or free if you are cheeky enough! Worth chasing up. kalel Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Such mute controls are not fitted as standard, only available as very expensive options. Quote
